After this stroll on the decks of Le Requin, it is difficult not to reflect about living conditions for the some 250 men aboard this ship. As we already noticed in the other ships described in this site, the most spacious area is the quarterdeck.
Although the rigging appears rather simple as compared to a square rig, its design is nevertheless complex in order to handle antennas, the largest of which measures 37m and weighs almost 4 tons.
